About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Have you ever thought about installing a trail camera to detect which species of wildlife frequent your area? This outing is for you! Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Gary 'Gus' Gustafson to learn all about trail cameras including camera selection, placement, use, security, challenges, and much, much more. Gus has been managing wildlife trail cameras on Land Trust Preserves for near a decade and his efforts have helped capture footage of many of the wildlife species present in Central Oregon. Gus will provide participants with hands-on experience, so they can learn where and how to place their trail cameras for the best success. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
